I just have to say how amazed I am to the amount of donations that we have received from complete strangers, that don't know me or Johnathon, but are touched by our story. It makes me feel like this is really making a difference and really spreading the word about childhood cancers and awareness. Thanks also to all my wonderful friends that have forwarded my emails and blogs to their friends and families. The response is great and it makes me more motivated every time I hear, "I received this email from a friend..." Thanks to all of you for all of your support!! - Emergency Room Nurse mother of 5 (2 of my own) 3 of my fiances. Heading toward 40 and self discovery, recovering from loss and learning to live again. My own personal journey to healing and learning with the help of friends and family. Training for a Marathon in Oct 2009 raising money for Childhood Cancer Research. Engaged to the love of my life...although he had to convince me of that! He really is my best friend and the best father to his kids and mine. This blog is about random thoughts and ideas as I train and head toward my bigger goal of running a marathon in Oct 2009. Self discovery is never a road we travel alone, we need those around us to also help us figure out who we are. who is more likely to point out your flaws and shortcomings if not your friends and family!
